        The Lake Superior region is one of the most pristine and beautiful places in the world. Yet these large expanses of woodland and fresh water are being rapidly destroyed by increasing industrial and recreational use.  Hopefully by viewing some of these pictures you too will know the peace worth fighting for that existed in the Northwoods, and still exists in some rare locations today.
