A few years ago, Perry wrote Population 485: Meeting your Neighbors One Siren at a Time” about his experiences as a small town  volunteer fireman and Emergency Medical Technician.  Nick Vander Puy from the Superior Broadcast Network talks with Perry about Wisconsin, funky repair shops, his young marriage and the joys of hauling  gravel and deer from the woods with his truck.
