A Sand County Almanac

Aldo Leopold’s classic book, “A Sand County Almanac, ” published in 1948, has influenced many conservationists in Wisconsin.  This includes Department of Natural Resources wildlife biologist Adrian Wydeven in Park Falls. For the past sixteen years he  has worked on restoring timber wolves to northern Wisconsin.  On Saturday March 4, 2006, Wydeven is sponsoring a public reading “A Sand County Almanac” in northwestern Wisconsin.  Nick Vander Puy from the Superior Broadcast Network talks with Wydeven about the influence “A Sand County Almanac,” has had upon his life.
